EU's Energy Efficiency - Doing More with Less Campaign

REDUCING the amount of energy consumed every day is Europe’s biggest energy resource.

The European Union (EU) is highlighting the need to incorporate energy efficiency in all aspects of life to consume less and even better it is cheaper, protects our environment and favours competitiveness. We are all involved!

Energy efficiency is at the heart of Europe’s growth and transition to a resource efficient economy.

The European Union aims to save 20 percent of its primary energy consumption by 2020 (compared to what has been forecast). Everyone’s contribution is crucial in meeting this goal.

By improving energy efficiency we can save substantial amounts of energy. By choosing modern energy-efficient technology and energy management we can use significantly less energy by reducing waste.

The EU have provided the video clip below, which provides an overview of the EU’s energy efficiency objectives and shows how everyone can make the difference, be it in our professional or private life.
