Ukraine Planning Interregional Energy Efficiency Centres

A scheme to create up to five ‘interregional energy efficiency in Ukraine is being planned to provide consultative services for energy efficient technologies.

Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, the Acting Head of the Ukraine Parliamentary Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, revealed the plans stating: "There is a need for permanent exhibition centres with demonstration capacities.

“Five powerful interregional energy efficiency centres are planned to be opened in Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv and in a city in southern Ukraine," he added.

Dombrovskyi also noted that Ukraine has made noticeable advances in improving energy efficiency over the past three years, explaining: “this is only the first step.”
